The Challenge

Here is the challenge. If God has ordained all since before creation, why evangelize. If God predestined us before time, why bother? Your responses please.

because that is what we are called to do. God wants everyone to come to Him. If we do not evangelize how can the word of God start to move in someone's heart.

“Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-

For a person who is not saved, it may be the next gospel message they hear that will draw them to Christ. And when they do come to Christ then we can understand God's word

“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never drive away.” John 6:37

But my question still remains. If He already does know who will come whether I do it or not should not matter. Will not God in His Sovereignty draw that person regardless whether or not I am involved?

The Bible teaches that God uses “ambassadors” or “representatives” who are humans to offer the message, terms and conditions in which God is willing to recognize with his falling creature. In short God sends men to preach the word to sinners. He does this because if falling , rebellious man whom scripture describes as being at imminently or at war with God are to ever be reconciled to God, well then a treat of peace needs to be offered, and that treat needs to be communicated. But such is the fragility of human beings that if God where to speak to us directly himself, we would be overwhelmed by his purity and holiness and consumed by our sin. And so God graciously condescends, and he accommodates himself to our weakness and infirmities.

As a first step in restoring our relationship with Him, He sends men commissioned and sent by Him to explain our present state of sin, and our inedible certain judgment. Then the offer of peace is tendered by either a pastor, preacher, or some Christian, explaining what God’s son, Jesus Christ did in paying the debt of our sin on the cross for all those who repent and believe.

Or it could come from reading about God’s offer of peace in Holy Scripture.

The treaty we are offered as humans was never offered to for example the angels that fell. They according to scripture fell into one single sin on one occasion, and yet are none the less reserved to chains in everlasting darkness until judgment.

The mercy and grace that is offered freely and openly to all men is beyond comprehension and hard to imagine why God would even do so.

It is beyond words that God would even think of offering terms of peace to such evil corrupt enemy’s.
